长达一个月的压力，夜夜处于紧张而无法入眠的状态，四年半的医学生生涯终于在2月3日这一天结束了。为了逃避等待成绩的煎熬，我在考试的前一个月，和我最要好的朋友，在网上买了飞往冰岛的机票。2月15日是华人除夕夜，我也已经几年没吃上团圆饭了，因此今年必须赶上！经过商讨，我们决定2月5日启程，13日离开冰岛。由于她已在印度开始实习，而我必须先把一些东西带回家，因此冰岛机场成了我们的集合点。我从马来西亚起飞，而她则从印度机场启程。就这样，我俩各自乘坐了将近二十小时的航班，方才在冰岛机场见上面。说真的，我们已经一年没见面了！想起五年前，她是我在马来西亚的第一个室友，那时除了上厕所，几乎都能见到对方，还时常互谈心事至凌晨三四点钟。虽然我们都到印度，但彼此之间的距离却是十二个小时的路程，想见上一面确实不易，好在科技发达，手机成了我们友谊之间最棒的桥梁，之前的pillow talk 成了三四个小时的电话粥，一样熬夜至凌晨。说着说着，怎么扯远了，还是快回到冰岛的攻略。
Due to request from some friends, I decide to write an English version for this piece of article. After one month of stressful final MBBS examination, my four and half years as a medical student was finally coming to an end on 3rd Feb 2018. To escape from the anxiety of waiting the result, I had planned a trip to Iceland with my bestie who was currently working as an Intern in India. 15th Feb was the Chinese New Year Eve, I had not attended any reunion dinner since the past few years, we decided to start our trip from 5th Feb and left Iceland on 13th Feb so that I could managed to attend the family reunion on Chinese New Year Eve this year which was the most important event for the Chinese. Since she had started working, so Reykjavik Airport had become the meeting point for both of us, I left from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and she started her journey from Bengaluru Airport, and that also meant that I had to travel 20hours from Malaysia to Iceland ALONE! Although both of us were studying in India, but the distance between us was a 12-hour night bus trip, so I was looking forward to meet her in person. I was so excited to have pillow talk with her again. Let's go back to our Iceland trip.

冰岛自驾 Self Driving in Iceland（RM2063 per person）
关于冰岛自驾，我在网上阅读很多背包客的游记，做了一些比较，最后选择了 Reykjavik Rent A Car 这个公司。
我们租车七天，选了最小辆的manual车子，因为担心车子损坏或刮花的巨额赔偿金，所以买了Platinum 的保险，总共大约RM2326。
汽油 大约 RM1800 （RM900 per person)
I had read a lot of travel blog on net, after comparing the pros and cons of different car rental companies, I decided on Reykjavik Rent A Car. We rented a small manual 4-seater car for 7 days and had bought platinum car insurance which covered most of the damages and uncertainties during the trip because the fees of car repair was extremely expensive.

住宿 (Accomodation)（RM1002 per person):
我们通过Agoda 网站及AirB网站订购住宿。
We booked all our accomodation through Agoda and AirBnb websites.
活动（Activities）(RM734 per person)：
食物（Food）(RM350 per person)：
由于经费有限，我们自己带很多食物，没有到餐厅。
-面包 （Gardenia Whole Wheat Bread, Sambal Buns)
-饼干，小蛋糕
-麦片，MILO
-罐头Tuna
-巧克力
-面线，米粉，快熟面
-Tomyam Cube
早餐都是面包擦Tuna或者吃小蛋糕
午餐我们都是在车上吃早上煮的米粉（橄榄油罐头Tuna）。
晚餐到Bonus Supermarket 买些零食及食材自己下厨，Salmon 便宜且新鲜。
我们也买了些巧克力和零食饼干带回家。
饼干及巧克力是非常重要的粮食，由于天气寒冷，我们不时在路途中补充能量。
当然，我们有尝试当地著名的热狗面包(RM40)和yogurt(RM10).
Due to tight budget, we brought a lot of food from home.

Breakfast - We had bread with tuna spread or mini muffins.
Lunch - We ate noodles with olives oil tuna prepared in the morning.
Dinner - We went to Bonus Supermarket almost everyday to buy some snacks and ingredients to cook, the salmon fish slices were cheap and fresh.
We also bought chocolates and snacks to bring back home.
Biscuits and chocolates were the sources of energy during winter for us.
We did try the famous hotdog bun from Baejarins Beztu Pylsur (RM40) and the greek yogurt (RM10).
Total ：RM350 per person
纪念品（Souvenirs）（RM240）：
我买了7张明信片，大约RM70.
寄了两张，大约RM40.
还买了一个冰箱磁铁也爱收集的妈妈，大约RM30.

衣物（Clothing）：
有多厚就多厚，毕竟我不想冻死。
我的冬装大多数是从uniqlo买的。
打底了好几件heattech。
I wore as many layers of clothes as I can as I didn't want to be frozen,basically I was like surviving in a fridge
Most of my winter clothes were from Uniqlo.
I wore a few layers of heattech underneath.

Google map 是个好帮手，所有的路程都是依靠Google map。在计划行程时，先把所有想去的景点标注在google map，接着安排顺序。这行程不是原来计划的，途中发生了大雪风暴，我们只好改变行程，取消了原本预定的酒店。当然这些都归功于google map。更多精彩色内容以及有惊无险的突发状况，敬请留意下一个帖子。
我一直以来是个按部就班的人，旅途前永远会做好充分的准备，而这一次的冬季冰岛之旅，让我学会了如何应付预料之外的状况，也非常感谢我的这位朋友的陪伴，与我并肩解决问题。每一次的旅行，都是一种成长。
